VIP United F.C. provides the opportunity for our players to sample the cultural and historical life of our European counterparts.

Trips are usually planned around Spring Break and Thanksgiving school holidays and have a duration of 10-12 days.

The primary focus of the trips are watching live games of professional soccer, playing against solid opposition and having the opportunity to train with professional coaches at a very high level.

There are tours of several Stadiums, Medieval and even Roman Castles.

Generally trips have seen our players travel to three countries; England, Scotland and Wales although now we have the added possibility of trips to Spain, Germany, Italy and France.

Since 2005 over 400 Peninsula players have embarked on a trip.

Teams have trained with Glasgow Rangers, Manchester United, Bolton Wanderers and Liverpool Academy Staff.

Visited Old Trafford, the Etihad, St. James Park, Goodison Park,  Anfield and lots of others.

They have visited ancient relics such as Castlerigg, Castles in York, Newcastle , Edinburgh, Holy Island, Warwick and Caernarvon.

Seen Shakespeare performed in Stratford upon Avon, Knights jousting at a castle, falconry at a private aviary,Christmas markets in Manchester and a piper at Edinburgh Castle.

Since taking the trip a fair number have decided to undertake their college education in Europe.
